The brief was to design a multi format catalog as a tribute to a wellknown artist. I chose to design a catalog for the amazing artist Hannah Hoch.

Design

In the design it was important for me to emphasize the collage technique that was the essence of Hoch's work while giving a platform and respect to her original works.

Problem Solving

The biggest challenge was to transfer the print into the web while maintaining the values of collage and handwork that were reflected in the print version. I chose to give life and animate Hoch's works and by that to actually bring Hoch back to life in a way.
